Founded by Chef Stephan Pyles, a 5th generation Texan and founding father of Southwestern Cuisine, Stampede66 serves as an ode to Texas featuring signature dishes such as the award-winning Honey-Fried Chicken and 72-Hour Texas Wagyu Brisket.

Influenced by Chef Pyles upbringing, Stampede66 is the perfect place to enjoy delicious food and beverages in an atmosphere of gracious Southern hospitality and Texas lore. The menu features fresh, local ingredients and items are prepared from scratch daily to serve only the finest quality of food.

The name of Stampede66 was inspired by Chef Pyles’ home-town Big Spring, Texas. “The Stampede” is an iconic dance hall that was opened in 1954 by the legendary country-western musician and songwriter Hoyle Nix. The “66” comes from Pyles’ family restaurant that he grew up in, The Big Spring Phillips 66 Truck Stop Café.
